David Jones 1

As a Project Architect with The Crump Firm, Mr. Jones brings a wide variety of building type experience to the office.  He is involved in all aspects of the design process to include programming, conceptual design, space planning, design development, construction documents and construction administration. 

David is married and has a son and daughter, both grown. He enjoys general aviation related activities, such as building and flying an experimental airplane - yes, he will fly what he builds. David also enjoys fly fishing and traveling when he can.

U.S. ARMY

1986-1990
Served as an Active Duty Engineer Officer with the 237th Engineer Battalion, 7th Engineer Brigade, 7th Corps stationed in Heilbronn, Federal Republic of Germany.  

1990-2012
Served as a Reserve Duty Engineer Officer with various Engineer Commands to include the 90th Regional Support Command, 416th Theater Engineer Command, and the 412th Theater Engineer Command.  Activated for Operation Iraqi Freedom 2 (OIF 2) from January 2004 thru March 2005. 

Retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in January 2012.
