ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization that supports St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, expanded its headquarters to include a 280,000-square-foot office tower in early 2018. The new building was an addition to ALSAC's existing headquarters in the six-story Tamer-Rashid Building.
Visually, the building mirrors Tamer-Rashid and other buildings on the St. Jude campus, but functionally, it offers an updated configuration and modern amenities that the organization will need to continue raising and stewarding funds in support of the hospital's ever-advancing care, research and programs. In addition to providing more individual workspaces for ALSAC's expanding workforce, the 10-story facility features small meeting rooms and open, multi-use areas on each floor to promote collaboration.
This project was part of a larger expansion at ALSAC/St. Jude, which includes other Crump-Firm-led projects, like the Kay Research and Care Center, completed in 2015, and the Advanced Research Center, which will be completed in 2021.
